I kept hoping that he was tall enough to pull the horn. I didn't have the guts to and he would have been the perfect excuse. Oh well, I have one year to train him on that one.
And Mel, talk about a natural look.
We then decided to go to the pumpkin patch. It was fun for this kids. Nothing like the fire station, which I still think about everyday, but Brendan had fun running around with our neighbor who was also there. My favorite was that anytime Brendan got on one of the tractors he would look at me and say, "Daddy, how does it work?" I seriously thought about trying to fire it up, but realized that if I have to go to court for a parking permit ticket at a state park (which I do) the punishment for trashing a pumpkin patch with 1920's tractor just wouldn't pay off.

As for the cinnamon rolls, Mel was so proud of her Paula Dean cooking that I had to throw these on. They were dang good.

cutest pictures at the fire station! Oh I wish we lived close!
I love the pictures at the fire station, too! It looked like all of you had fun to me...well, maybe not so much for our sweet Rylie! She looked like she had more fun at the pumpkin patch so it was a good thing you did both!
The cinnamon rolls have my mouth watering already! How about it you make them for Thanksgiving at our house?
Love you!
