Melanie and I took Brendan for a nice Sunday stroll through campus a few weeks ago. We fed the ducks, which already had at least three full loaves of bread floating on the water, walked around the two lakes on campus, and most of all, restled in the leaves. B loved to hear the leaves under our feet. He loved even more to push the stoller through the leaves to hear the wheels smash the leaves. Below is a picture of the golden dome and the Basilica through the trees over one of the ponds on campus.
I don't remember anymore what game this was, but I have a feeling it was the ND vs. Michigan game. Sore memories. We did, however, enjoy the day in the sun.
Here is one of the more recent pictures of Brendan. The weather has cooled off quite a bit. Surprisingly, though he doesn't seem to mind the cold weather. 
I couldn't help but want this picture up here. I love how this portrays his personality. He is so fun and happy and easy going. I caught him putting his hands in pockets. When I busted out the camara, the first thing out of his mouth was, "Cheese!" Definitely camara shy. I've said it once before, but it's so fun for us to see him grow and develop. And to think we're about to do it all over again...wow. December 19 is coming too quickly. Our house is suddenly turing very pinkish. It's cute to see how excited Melanie is. I'm sure it's much the same I was for Brendan. Don't get me wrong, Melanie was very excited for B and I am excited for Rylie, but there is some unspoken excitement we've both shown. Our family is very excited for the addition of little "Ra'ra", as Brendan says it.

Yeah---I need to download the pictures on my camara onto my computer. One thing at a time now...
I can't believe how big Brendan has gotten! Glad to see that you've made it to a few ND games. Brady Quinn sure is a hansome man in his suit and tie, but Swanny's still a better QB. (And Jonesy's a better reciever than Samardzija!)
Hey Jonesy and Mel—the P-men here. We still have your Simpson's Clue cards. We need to catch up sometime. I'll give you a ring. Brendan is cute and we wish you the best for Riley/Rilee/Rylie, etc..
Yeah, pretty much Samardzija can't compete. Stick with the Cubbies Jeff.
P-men, good to hear from you. It's no wonder our clue games only last 5 minutes now. You guys have the evidence.
